Questions about the Product?
- What Size does my Granola Mix have?
- All of our granola mixes are filled with 16oz. of delicious granola and ingredients which results in 14 servings. Compare to this a standard supermarket granola usually only contains 12oz. So you are 33% more granola than in a standard store-bought granola
- Are your Products Organic?
- Most of our products are organic and come from the finest producers in the U.S. All products are all-natural products.
- Where do you get the Ingredients from?
- We hand-picked ingredient producers from all over the U.S. and believe that they all offer high-end quality products. All of our granola mixes are packed in our warehouse in Miami, Florida and are shipped across the U.S. from here. This way we can oversee the mixing and packaging process and ensure the quality that you expect from our products.
- What are the ingredients used in your Organic Granola base?
- Organic whole rolled oats, organic naturally milled sugar, organic expeller pressed canola oil, organic crisp brown rice with organic rice syrup, organic sunflower seeds, organic maple syrup, organic oat flour, organic maple flavor, organic vanilla flavor, salt.
- What are the ingredients used in your French Vanilla Granola base?
- Whole rolled oats, naturally milled sugar, expeller pressed canola oil, crisp rice (with sugar, salt, barley malt), whey powder, sliced almonds, honey, natural flavor, nutmeg.
- What are the ingredients used in your Low-Fat Granola base?
- Whole rolled oats, naturally milled sugar, whole rolled wheat, crisp rice (with sugar, salt, barley malt), honey, sweetened cranberries (cranberries, sugar, sunflower oil), unbleached white flour, almonds, coconut, natural cranberry flavor, expeller pressed canola oil, salt.
- What are the ingredients used in your 100% Organic base?
- Organic whole rolled oats, organic raisins, organic whole rolled wheat, organic date pieces with organic oat flour, organic walnuts, organic almonds.
- How can I see the Nutrition Facts of my Granola Mix?
- You can see the individual nutrition facts of each ingredient by clicking on the "more info" links. You can also see the overall nutrition facts of your granola mix by clicking on the nutrition calculator. Our nutrition calculator calculates the nutrition facts of your individual granola mix in real-time based on the ingredients that you have chosen. In addition, all of our granola mixes carry an individual label on the back of the container that informs you about the nutrition facts of your customized granola.
- When does my Granola Mix expire?
- The expiration date depends on the ingredients you choose for your granola mix, but your granola will never expire prior to three months from the date of shipment.
- Do your Products contain Nuts or Seeds?
- YES! Our products and our facility contain traces of nuts and seeds. To be on the safe side, those allergic to nuts and seeds should not order any of our products, including non-nut products.
- Are your Products Vegan?
- Most of our nuts and seeds and dried fruits are vegan friendly, but most of our extras are not. Please email us at info@mixmygranola.com and let us know which specific ingredients you are interested in and we will get back to you with an answer as soon as possible.
- Are your Products Kosher?
- A number of products we purchase are Kosher certified. However, our packing facility has yet to be Kosher Certified and we are looking into the Kosher Certification process.
Questions about the Ordering Process?
- How many ingredients do customers usually add to their mix?
- Our customers have added an average 4 ingredients in addition to the granola base. The maximum amount of ingredients is 15.
- What is the average price MixMyGranola customers pay for their custom-made granola?
- The average price for our 16oz granola mixes is $7.90.
- Can I send a Granola Mix as a Gift to someone?
- YES! You can enter your billing address and the shipping address separately. Simply enter your payment details under the billing address and the gift recipient's address under the shipping address and we will ship your mix as a present anywhere within the U.S. No invoice will be included in the package. You can also include a personalized greeting card to your order. Simply add the personalized greeting note at checkout and we will include your note in a beautiful greeting card in a sleek envelope.
- Can I add a personalized Greeting Message to my order?
- Of course! You can include a personalized greeting card to your order. When checking out, on the "Your shopping cart" page, simply click on the link next to the little red ribbon to add the personalized greeting message. We will add your personalized message in a beautiful greeting card and a sleek envelope to your order.
- Can I buy Gift Certificates for MixMyGranola?
- Yes! You can find the link to purchase gift certificates in the blue navigation bar in the top right corner. Gift Certificates are available from $10.00 and are the perfect choice to surprise any cereal lover.
- I have a Gift Certificate code but it doesn't seem to work. What am I doing wrong?
- You might be trying to use the electronic gift certificate code as a promotion code in your shopping cart. To use an electronic gift certificate code, please click on the button "Go To Checkout" and choose "Gift Certificate" as your payment option. Then please fill out all information on this page and click on "Confirm Your Order". You will then be taken to a new page that will allow you to enter the electronic gift certificate code. The value of your gift certificate will be applied to your shopping cart balance and you will be able to pay any additional amount by using our other payment methods.
- How can I re-order a Granola Mix that I have ordered before?
- To re-order a Granola Mix that you have ordered before, please click on "Re-Order" in the footer of our homepage and enter the individual Mix-ID that you can find on the nutrition facts label of your Granola Mix. If you have created your own MixMyGranola account, you can also log into your account and click on "Re-Order Mix" in the section "Granola Mixes" in your account.
- How can I add the same Ingredient more than once?
- Click on "add item" again and you will see a "2" next to the ingredient in your mix. This indicates you have 2 servings of that ingredient in your mix. Click "add item" again and add additional servings of the same ingredient - as many as you like!
Questions about Payment and Shipping?
- How can I pay for my Order?
- We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Card), PayPal and Google Checkout. MixMyGranola is a verified authorize.net merchant and uses VeriSign SSL technology to ensure all of your credit card details are handled securely.
- How much is the Shipping?
- We ship your granola for a flat-fee of $5.99 per order all across the U.S. No matter how many of our tasty granola mixes you order or where you want your mixes to be shipped - our shipping fee always stays at $5.99.
- How long does it take for the Shipment to arrive?
- We do our best to mix, pack and ship all of our orders within 48 hours of receipt of an order. Our products are shipped with FedEx Ground and normally take 2-6 business days to arrive at the recipient's address. If you are interested in our over-night shipping options please contact us at info@mixmygranola.com.
- Do you ship to APO addresses?
- Yes. But orders will be shipped via USPS and the customer will be required to pay additional shipping charges (Our cost minus the 4.99). We will send you the extra amount you owe in shipping via a PayPal invoice.
- Do you ship abroad?
- Unfortunately we do not ship outside of the U.S. at this point. However, if you are willing to pay the international shipping charges please email us at info@mixmygranola.com with your order details and shipping address.
- Do you offer Special Rates for Corporate Orders?
- Yes. We are offering a variety of individual corporate packages for businesses that are interested in sending a special "Thank You" to customers, clients, associates and friends. Questions about our Enhancers?
- What are Enhancers and what do they do?
- While our granola is the cornerstone to good nutrition and good health, our enhancers add extra nutritional value in areas you might be lacking.
- What do Enhancers taste like?
- Most of our enhancers are not used for flavor but instead are used for their vitamin and antioxidant properties.
- Where can I see the added nutritional values of the Enhancers?
- Click on the "more info" link below the brief description of each enhancer.
- Why is the Serving Size of the Enhancers different than the for other Ingredients?
- Enhancers do pack a lot of nutritional punch in a small serving amount. For our enhancers, "a little goes a long way."
- Why can I only add two Enhancers to my mix?
- Because enhancers do have a hint of bland flavors, we concluded from our food lab that to keep our granola super tasty, the maximum number of enhancers allowed is two.
- Are Enhancers for everyone?
- Our Enhancers are recommended for adults 18 and older. Also, If you are pregnant or nursing, consult your health care professionals before using any of these products.All statements about our enhancers have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
